Zagg Inc is getting pricey! (ZAGG)

July 25, 2011 under Investing, Watchlist

ZAGG is the maker of Invisible Shield cell phone protective overlays.  Ive had one on my Pre at one point and will say it for sure was the best out there I ever used.  That being said I think current valuation on Zagg is getting frothy and is due for a slight pull back.   Volume has been fading and profit taking I believe soon to come.  Entry point SHORT @ $16.25 with stops at the mid $14’s.

Disclosure – I do not currently hold Zagg.  Do not invest unless you can afford to lose your entire investment.

Watchlist July 18 – Walmart, Waste Management, Cisco (WMT, WM, CSCO)

July 18, 2011 under Watchlist

BUY:

Walmart

I read somewhere Wallys represents about 8% of US retail sales, thus I use their reporting as more of a broad indicator.  But their core business is great – they sport an awesome dividend roughly @ 2.72% and are global.  I am a big proponent of dividends for retirement investing and dont see this firm going away anytime soon.

Price target  $52.00

Waste Management

When was the last time you hauled your regular trash to the dump?  Never! When you think about it, you probably never will.  This firm provides a service that is more recession resistant then needing a haircut.  With a 3.76% yield.

Price target  $34.50

Cisco Systems

Leader in the network routing space, management I believe is what is holding this firm back.   Currently price is consolidating the $15 range, but this has happened in the past leading to make me think any investment with in Cisco should be hedged properly.  Prices now are near the March ’09 levels thus it could be a bargain buy.  Another thing to note is that with all the new computing devices (tablets, etc..) routing and switching devices will be more and more important to enterprise environments.

Price Target $15.50 or better

Disclosure – I do not hold any of these companies directly – but may hold them indirectly via managed fund accts.  Do not invest unless you can afford to lose your entire investment.  I am not an investment advisor, contact one if you have questions.

Thursday Watch List (CBBD, FCEL, FEED)

June 30, 2011 under Investing, Watchlist

You On Demand Holdings, Inc. (Public, OTC:CBBD)

Currently up on unusual volume but if you can box these shares – you could do really well on both sides of the play.

FuelCell Energy, Inc. (Public, NASDAQ:FCEL)

CFO resigned on the 14th – on top of that Return on average equity Q2 = -3515.51%  (yes that’s negative 35 times) much worse then 2010 where it was a -296.60%.

AgFeed Industries, Inc. (Public, NASDAQ:FEED)

Been hovering around 1.18 for a while – I think it’s truly a sub dollar stock that had bounced but is truly on a much larger downtrend.  Possible short play.

Disclosure: I do not hold any of these symbols in my account at the time of writing.  This may or may or may not change with future transactions in my account and may not be disclosed.  All writings shared are for entertainment purposes only – seek a registered financial advisor for any guidance you may need.  PLAIN ENGLISH – I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LOSSES, AS I AM NOT ADVISING YOU TO BUY OR SELL ANY SECURITY!
